Sydney trip

This last-minute trip to Sydney was the idea of the best travel buddies in the world, Tita Celia and Tito Rollie! Edward and I dream about the day we can travel and enjoy seeing the world as much as they do! 

We flew to Sydney on the 21st and came back on boxing day. Thanks Kuya Roy and Ate Sally for accommodating us! We had a great time with very happy and satisfied bellies our entire stay.

First time to fly together :)

Kuya Roy picked us up at the airport and we met Tita Yollie and Tito Ed for a quick dinner as they had an early morning flight to the Philippines the next day.

We took the train from Gosford to the city then a ferry ride to see the iconic Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge on Christmas eve.

Montessori connection in Sydney!! The last time I saw Karen was at our elementary graduation - almost 14 years ago!! Thanks to Facebook, it's so easy to reconnect with old friends.

Montessori Connection

We met up with Blessie, our Montessori school mate. Blessie's twin brothers were Edward's childhood playmates :)

It's always exciting to see faces from years ago, talking about common experiences and new adventures in a relatively less familiar place.

She's an awesome performer! It's amazing how someone could have that much energy!

Kalyna Care

I have always wanted to play the piano for the elderlies so when PJ and Janelle invited me to join them at their Christmas concert in Kalyna Care, I immediately said yes!

Janelle and I played Blue Rondo A La Turk by Dave Brubeck again. The first time we performed the piece was in 2009 at a concert in our old church.

They also asked me on the day if I can play another piece so Edward suggested I do Over The Rainbow. :)

We went to church in the West the next day with Johann, my sweet friend from GCF (my home church in the Phils). 

Handyman

The handyman's first time at Bunning's warehouse. 

Edward cracked the bathroom sink when he accidentally dropped a bottle of perfume! We asked the guys at Bunning's how we can patch it up and we were given puzzled faces and were told to buy a replacement but Edward just used an epoxy patch and wahoo it's now a fully functional sink again. Hehe :)

Finally!! I was one who would unashamedly step out of my seat during Praise and Worship at church service to ask for a Pastor to pray and believe with me - Psalm 37:4.

No more waiting! He's here!!! :)

My friends Syrel and Cheska came with me to the airport. As soon as Edward came out, we went straight to the Departure area to see off Cheska as she flies to the US for work.
